The biography is told through the narrators eyes like a story of Martin's life. The story is sectioned off into chapters, which are also labeled in the index. Along with the different chapters, there are phenomenal pictures to go along with the biography. The novel focues on injustice, being black in Dixie, how to find faith, mobilizing Montgomery and primarily Martin Luther King Jr.

I would never have the students read the entire book, because this is just too long and too much information. But, I would have different groups read and research different sections of the biography and present the sections out to the whole class.
